Driving impactful change together – Newsletter April 2025
In these challenging times, networks are more crucial than ever for driving transformation. At the same time it is important for us to create moments of belonging and mutual empowerment for a brighter future.
The last year was full of dynamism, growth, and significant milestones for SDSN Switzerland. Together with members, partners, and supporters, we have been able to advance key issues that pave the way for a more sustainable future.
A key milestone was our Regenerative Economy Conference, which united inspiring personalities and fostered transdisciplinary learning to advance the vision of a regenerative economy for Switzerland and beyond. The discussions, outcomes, and the shared understanding of a regenerative economy, developed through our joint publications with HSG-IWÖ, will guide us in implementing this vision in the coming years.
We proudly launched the #AvenirAlimentaire project to transform our food system through collective action. This project brings together stakeholders to find solutions that create ecological, social, and economic value, building on our first national food system summit and SDSN Switzerland’s expert panel for the future of food.
Our cross-party parliamentary group for the SDGs has been vital in bringing Knowledge-to-Policy. We welcomed new members in the parliamentary group’s co-presidency to ensure representation of all major parties and supported parliamentarians to learn from scientific evidence and practical knowledge.
We developed our jointly identified focus on Living Spaces by hosting co-creative workshops with stakeholders to identify key levers for shaping sustainable environments. We are investigating these levers with our member BFH to build informed action and impact.
Best wishes,
Carole, Jorge and the SDSN Switzerland Team
